Office Art

This has to be my favorite piece from our office art collection (currently hanging in the break room on the 4th floor). I especially love how it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.

is that an ad for TOWER RECORDS from the 80's?

My professional interpretation:

The flower is meant to symbolize the out doors and having fun. The flower is counterbalanced by the graph paper background that is very industrial symbolizing working and the work place. The flower is in the foreground but the graph paper takes up more space witch means even though things outside of work are more important you still need to focus the majority of your time on work. This piece has a message; it is saying “stop smelling the flowers and get back to work”. It’s subliminal messaging, propaganda by the EPA to make you work harder.
